Hi, everybody. I am a modern post-90s girl, called Emma.

Since junior high school, because of busy work, my father moved to live in a far away company. Weekly or even monthly, I can only see him once. Also, my mother is on duty at night, so I don’t often see her, either. Every night, I’m alone at home, take care of myself and feel lonely. I miss my father and hope to have a warm dinner, not just myself alone. ----------40s

It has been three years, think carefully, I want to ask: in the times of cosseted generation, am I really lucky? In my view, living in this age is both lucky and unlucky._15s

We live without war full of information, modern science and technology. Life is very convenient. We don’t need to worry about food. There are a lot of opportunities and time to learn a lot of knowledge and develop our own interests. What’s more, there is only one child per family with enough love and fully attention. So we are healthy and lucky._____35s

But every coin has two sides, to think from another side, we may be unlucky. As is mentioned, it‘s lucky that we have enough love and care. But once our parents are away from us, we’ll be lonely and become indifferent .Also if love is given too much, Teenagers may become unsatisfied; personality is stubborn, extreme, selfish and lacking in tolerance.

At junior high school, I had a beautiful rich but arrogant classmate. She

didn’t allow people to say no to her and did anything she wanted to do. The result was that she wanted to make real friends but can’t make it.

What’s more, the more we are loved, the more responsibility and pressure we have. We study harder to return the love. But if we don’t succeed, having little experience, we may collapse desperate jump off the building suicide. My good friend, because of the failure in his test, he became depraved, I’m very sad for that.

Generally speaking, in the modern era, we are both lucky and unlucky. But whether lucky or not, we should enjoy everything we have, converting the misfortune to luck.

Any way, in a few months, I can see my father, so I’m very happy.
