摘要：This invention relates to tongs for use in a multi-stage forging press in which aforging having a collar projecting at right angles to the axis of the press and which isdownstream relative to the direction of ejection from the press is to be automaticallytransported by the tongs. The present invention provides an arrangement for protectingthe collar of the forging during transportation thereof.
