跟车司机在车辆行走过程中应时刻注意车辆行走前方轨道是否正常，轨道中无影响车辆运行的杂物。跟车司机信号发射机应随身携带。

10、车辆运行过程中跟车司机应仔细观察车辆运行前方的路况，特别注意观察钢丝绳是否在压绳轮内，如果发现钢丝绳在压绳轮外必须马上停车，把钢丝绳放入压绳轮内后才能发开车信号；如果未能及时发现钢丝绳在压绳轮外出现钢丝绳卡住压绳轮轮体时必须马上停车，先倒车使储绳钢丝绳两端没有张力差后停车，把钢丝绳放入压绳轮内才能发出开车信号。
11、储绳车过道岔时，跟车司机应打开道岔以免损坏储绳车及钢丝绳。

o、卡轨车运行期间，司机要精力集中，发现无极绳拉力突然增大或减小等异常情况要立即停车，查明原因并处理好后在开车。
