The Greatest Invention in my eyes

Good morning, ladies and gentleman. I’m honored to be here.

What’s the greatest invention in your eyes, computer, cell phone, television or others? Do you find something in common in these things? Yes, if you want to use them, you’ll need the help of electricity. So, electricity is the greatest invention in my eyes.

Electricity is very important to us in the 21ST century. People are using electricity every day, every time around the world. Can you imagine the life without electricity? It means that you have to cancel all of your night life .It means that you have to say goodbye to your computer games; it means that you have to write letter to communicate with your family instead of a phone call. How terrible it is! Not only this, without electricity your life will become totally discord. Every one has experienced the pour failure. cars hesitate in the streets because there are no traffic lights to guide them, food spoils in refrigerators, and you will feel extremely hot because air-condition cannot work without electricity .

I have experienced a long time without electricity. This period almost drives me crazy. It happened in the last winter holiday. One day, we were told that there would be a power failure last for at least one day because the lines should be changed .As you know, it was in winter, and the weather was freezing cold. We could not use air-condition to keep warm. So I went to the bed. I want to find something to entertain myself. So I opened my MP4. However, misfortunes never

come singly. The MP4 shut down automatically because electricity in the battery was consumed. It was terrible but it was not the worst thing. I began to play my cell phone. Bad luck met me again. There was no electricity to support my cell phone. Then I felt a bit hungry but I had nothing to eat. I could not cook without electricity! This was my horrible experience. The worst day in my last winter holiday, no hot service, no entertainment, and even no hot food..

This bad experience helped me to realize the importance of electricity. I will cherish the colorful days with electricity. Thanks for the inventor who invented electricity. It plays an important role in our modern life. By the way, I also hope all of us save electricity. Because all of us don’t want to consume it, doesn’t it?
